Winter Quarter 2008
As you read this newsletter, I hope we are in our last days of winter weather, although this is the time of year when it is easiest to snuggle into our favorite stitching chair and spend quality time with our favorite pastime. For me, it’s also that time of year when I am plotting how many stitching-related events I can attend this year and just how many more UFO projects I can manage to store. Sometimes it is a really difficult decision and I convince myself that I will complete a project in retirement if necessary, but I better get it now while I can.
The NER Education committee has temptations for you with their offerings for our fall Region Day. I think you will have a hard time choosing between them, but if you feel you have too many projects already going, you can come enjoy the day and work on a project you already have in progress.
I hope many of you will be able to attend the 50th Golden Gala Seminar in Louisville, KY. This should be another spectacular seminar.
NER 2009 seminar planning is progressing nicely with tentative class projects having just been selected at our Board meeting.
As much as I worry about lots of unfinished projects, I keep taking classes because I enjoy learning new things and enjoy spending time with my fellow stitchers. So I hope to see you at a National, regional, or chapter event this year.
