Connecticut River Valley Chapter - News
- CRVC has had a very busy Spring. April 5th and 6th was our Annual Meeting with election of officers. We also had Carole Lake with us for two days for two fully subscribed classes. First class on Saturday the 5th was "How to Write a Stitch Guide" and was attended by 25 members from CRVC and the NER Region, plus New Jersey. Sunday's class was a Thistle Ornament beautifully presented along with a running commentary on the life and times of Mary Queen of Scots. Carole and her family were in Scotland for 2 years and Carole studied the life and history of Mary. This was a weekend enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
- I would remind all Region members that our programs are open to every member of the Region. Tanya Berlin will be with us in October and Sandy Rodgers in December. Check the CRVC web site (CRVC-EGA.ORG) for details and contact information.
